CLAY IN THE WOODS
SLOW HANDBUILDING WORKSHOP IN NATURE
Bare feet in the grass, hands in the clay.
Discover the slow art of clay while unwinding in nature and create your own clay pieces to use in your daily life as reminder to take it slow.
Whether making a set of cups, bowls or a plate, you will be guided step by step through the making process with basic handbuilding techniques used since the beginning of time. Just by hand, no pottery wheel needed making this down to earth experience accessible for all levels of creativity.
We will gathering at the edge of the forest and make a walk to our clay spot where it is time for letting your creativity flow. Inspired by the lush surrounding we will include natural elements in our clay pieces.
All clay creations made during the workshop will return to my home studio where the slow clay process will start. It takes 6-8 weeks for your pieces to be finished, by this time they have been baked twice and glazed to your liking.
Carefully wrapped they will be send to you, ready to become part of your daily routines.
